Overview
Bertie Fisher, born in 1950 in County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, would go on to become one of Ireland’s most respected and successful rally drivers. While there are no official records of his participation in major international rallies during the 1960s, it is widely believed that his early motorsport involvement began during this period. Fisher’s disciplined and consistent approach to driving would later make him a four-time Irish Tarmac Rally Champion and a beloved figure in Irish rallying.
