Overview
The 1968 Pneumant Rally, officially titled the 8. Rallye DDR – Pneumant Rallye, was one of East Germany’s premier motorsport events. Held from April 4–7, 1968, and forming part of the European Rally Championship, it was a rally of precision, mechanical discipline, and strategic timing. It tested not only speed but also a crew’s ability to adhere to rigid controls and navigate a tightly managed route across the German Democratic Republic.
