Gravel Opening: Loose, dusty roads with sweeping bends.
Asphalt Transition: Circuit-like tarmac for days two and three.
Coastal Loops: Scenic but exposed to gusting winds.

Stages were centered in the Tarragona region, with coastal views and a mix of surfaces.

Teams had to make major setup changes between Friday and Saturday for the surface switch.
