Total Distance: 1,661.39 km overall (409.47 km of special stages)

Known as the ‘Rally of the Gods,’ the Acropolis once again proved punishing for man and machine. Loeb’s smooth, consistent pace was enough to beat his rivals in the blistering Greek heat.

Route

Bauxites: Fast gravel with rocky sections that shredded tires.
Klenia–Mycenae: Narrow, winding mountain roads.
New Loutraki: Technical closing stage near service park.

Dry, rocky gravel stages with temperatures exceeding 35°C.

Rocks and heat combined to make mechanical attrition a major factor.
