Harry Källström, born in 1939 in Sweden, was one of rallying’s most reliable and composed drivers throughout the late 1960s and into the 1970s. Nicknamed “Sputnik” for his cool demeanor and smooth style, Källström was particularly effective in tough conditions and endurance events. He gained international acclaim by winning the 1970 RAC Rally in a Lancia Fulvia, a landmark moment for both the Italian marque and Swedish rallying. Though not always in the spotlight, Källström built a career on consistency, car preservation, and smart pacing, earning respect across Europe.
