The 1968 Rallye Lyon–Charbonnières–Stuttgart–Solitude was held from March 7 to 9 and served as one of the more prestigious tarmac events in the European rally calendar. Starting in Lyon, France, and concluding in Stuttgart, West Germany, it was known for its technical tarmac stages across varied terrain and attracted top-tier French and European rally crews.
