Community Guidelines
Effective October 16, 2026 · Version 2026-10-16
Compromised Internals is a place for informed, constructive discussion of rally racing, motorsport history, vehicles, and events. These rules apply to Boards, blog discussions, profiles, private messaging, and member-generated content.
1. Respect fellow members
Criticize ideas, driving, engineering, or claims without attacking people. Harassment, stalking, bullying, discriminatory abuse, intimidation, and threats are prohibited.
2. Respect boundaries in private messaging
A searchable profile is not consent to unwanted contact. Send relevant, respectful message requests. If someone declines, blocks you, or asks you to stop, do not contact them through alternate accounts, other members, or repeated requests. Do not share or post private conversation content without appropriate permission or a legitimate safety/reporting purpose.
3. Protect privacy
Do not publish another person's address, phone number, private messages, financial data, private photographs, identity documents, or other nonpublic personal information without their permission. Do not impersonate members, officials, teams, or Compromised Internals staff.
4. Keep content lawful and appropriate
No credible threats, sexual exploitation material, nonconsensual sexual content, illegal sales, malware, phishing, fraud, or instructions to abuse the service. Do not use community features to solicit prohibited or unlawful transactions. Content that glorifies dangerous conduct toward others may be restricted.
5. Be truthful and give credit
Do not fabricate source claims to mislead users, deliberately spread scams, plagiarize other creators, or repeatedly post misleading event information. Label rumors as rumors and attribute external media appropriately. Historical debates and good-faith disagreements are welcome.
6. No spam or manipulation
Do not flood Boards or messages, farm engagement, automate unsolicited outreach, evade rate limits, or use misleading links. Relevant commercial discussions must be clearly identified; undisclosed advertising and unauthorized solicitation are not allowed.
7. Use reporting and blocking tools
Block users who you do not wish to hear from, and report rule violations through available controls. Reports should be accurate and made in good faith. Deliberately false or abusive reporting can itself lead to enforcement. Reporting does not guarantee an immediate response or a specific outcome.
8. Cooperate with moderators
Follow reasonable moderation instructions. Attempts to evade restrictions, retaliate against reporters, or abuse staff may result in additional action.
The related Moderation & Enforcement Policy explains warnings, suspensions, bans, and appeals. If safety is immediately at risk, contact local emergency services rather than relying on website reports.
