Moderation & Enforcement Policy
Effective October 16, 2026 · Version 2026-10-16
We enforce our Community Guidelines to protect members and maintain useful rally discussions. Responses depend on severity, context, repeat behavior, and available evidence. The stages below are guidance, not an entitlement to multiple warnings.
Possible enforcement actions
- Reminder or formal warning: For minor or first-time rule violations. A formal warning records a reason and issuing staff member.
- Content removal or feature restrictions: Removal of abusive content or limits on messaging, posting, or participation.
- Temporary suspension: Used for repeated misconduct, escalations, or while a serious incident is reviewed.
- Permanent ban: Used for persistent or serious violations, account evasion, or unacceptable safety risks.
- Immediate intervention: Serious threats, exploitation, doxxing, credible fraud, malicious activity, and comparable violations may lead to immediate restrictions or bans without prior warning.
How staff handle reports
Reports may be reviewed by authorized staff. If a member chooses to include message context with a report, authorized moderators can inspect that reported context; unrelated private conversations are not routinely disclosed. We may consider screenshots, relevant activity, prior moderation records, and member explanations. Staff access to reported message context is audited where the service supports it.
Notifications and recordkeeping
We endeavor to give account holders a meaningful reason for significant actions, unless doing so could create safety, privacy, or legal risks. Official messages or email may be used, but a delivery notification is not guaranteed. Staff record warnings and account-ban actions. Not all feature restrictions are automated or time-limited today.
Appeals
If you believe action was mistaken, submit a concise appeal using Contact, including your account username, the action, and relevant context. An appeal does not automatically lift a restriction. We aim for fair reviews, but cannot guarantee a fixed response time or an independent appeals panel.
Changes and discretion
We may update this policy with notice and renewed agreement where appropriate. We do not promise automatic bans at a fixed warning count; severe incidents can bypass progressive discipline. We prohibit retaliatory enforcement for good-faith reporting.
