Croatia

🏆 Part of the WRC Championship

📍 Rijeka, Croatia

📅 April 8, 2027 – April 11, 2027

The 2027 Croatia Rally brings the World Rally Championship back to the country's demanding asphalt roads from April 8–11 for the fourth round of the season. Following the rough gravel of Safari Rally Kenya, crews return to tarmac for an event where changing grip levels, narrow roads and unpredictable spring weather can make even the smallest mistakes costly.

Croatia's stages feature a mixture of fast, flowing sections and tight technical corners, often with significant changes in elevation and road surface. Cutting corners can drag dirt and gravel onto the racing line, leaving drivers with considerably less grip than expected. Conditions can also change between passes, forcing crews to adjust their braking points and driving approach as the roads deteriorate.

With the new WRC27-generation cars still early in their first championship season, Croatia will provide another opportunity for teams to evaluate their performance on asphalt. Suspension setups, tyre management and driver confidence will all play a role as crews work to find the right balance between outright speed and keeping the car on the road.

Croatia Rally is the kind of event where a clean run can be worth more than an aggressive one. A little too much speed into a dirty corner or an unexpected patch of wet asphalt can quickly undo an entire weekend's work.
